Transition

 “The process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another”

In the last 2 years Matthew has been experimenting.

His work is inspired by new and old materials using the figure and inanimate objects as his subject matter. Matthew has produced a body of work showing his transition from figurative abstract to pure abstract.

These installation works show a new set of skills, from building up texture with paint, paper and colour to sourcing raw materials and infusing those materials into his low relief work.
